PRAYER FOR HAITI

Dear Lord,
Thank you for allowing us to come together as children of God
to
help the people of Haiti.
Please hold Haiti's people in your hands and comfort them
during their desperate
time of need.
Help the children of Haiti to understand
that this is a test of faith and to trust in You
to
get them through it.
Guide Haiti with Your light of hope and courage.
Give the people of Haiti the strength to withstand
the trials ahead.
When the battle is over, let Haiti thrive and prosper.
Please touch the hearts of everyone to
donate generously to those in Haiti,
and as time passes, don't let us forget to remember Haiti in our prayers.
We ask this in Your name.

Hearts Helping Haiti
Project The devastating earthquake in Haiti has affected all of us over the last
two weeks. At St. Peter Cathedral School we have been taking up a collection each day and have remembered the people
of Haiti in our prayers. So far the students have raised $425.00 and many students have contributed each day. Our donation
will be sent to the Daughters of Charity who are serving in Haiti and have been there since 1973. The contributions
will help them to be able to serve the people of Haiti.
